My name is Michael "Fingers" Badstuebner and I am 38 years old. I live in Bethpage, Long Island. I have been playing pool for about 20 years but I only started to play competitive pool in the past 18 months! My loving and understanding wife Cheryl (the best wife EVER!!) lets me play whenever I want because she is my biggest fan!! I am in the process of putting a pool table (Gold Crown III) in my basement so I can play more and still be around the house to help with the house work!! Since I started playing pool all those years ago, I have won many local room tournaments all around Long Island and I was actually kicked out of a B tournament after reaching the finals because I "Thought too good". I actually came in second in the very first event I ever played in back in BALDWIN NY! I have won numerous small bar events and that was actually where I received my pool nickname, FINGERS!! I was winning all the time and when I had surgery on my bridge hand (wrist actually) I was still winning these events and someone said all I was doing was playing with my fingers (because of the cast) and the name stuck!!! I've been known as MIKE FINGERS in the pool world ever since!!
