Hello, some of you are wondering
who I am and what makes me qualified to give
lessons!
I have been playing pool for over 25 years,
and I've been playing on a professional level
for about 18 months. I have won over 45 local
tournaments, I have played on the BLAZE PRO-AM,
the Joss Northeast 9-ball, and the Predator
9-Ball tours With many top 10 finishes including,
2nd place 4 times, 3rd place 3 times, 4th place
4 times, and 5th place 3 times. I have had tournament
wins over top players such as
Earl
Strickland,
Mike
Davis,
Shin
Park,
George
"Ginky" San Souci,
Jeremy
Jones,
Neil
Fujiwara,
Tony
Robles ,
Nick Varner and
Oscar Dominguez to name a few! I believe
that qualifies me to give lessons on a beginner
to advanced level!
I offer excellent instruction on a personal
level with each lesson tailored to each students
specific needs! I work with each student at
their level and at their pace. Not all people
learn at the same speed! I allow students to
progress when they're ready to, not when I say
so! I try to explain everything in a way that
makes sense to them. I take the time needed
for each student to fully understand the lessons
I'm giving, I make sure they "GET IT",
so they can progress to the next level!
I am currently giving lessons at local pool
halls on LONG ISLAND, N.Y. only, and soon to
be giving lessons at my home on a 9 ft BRUNSWICK
GOLD CROWN 3 competition table!
Please feel free to contact me about pricing
and scheduling!
Now in 2008, I will be using the Jim Rempe Instructional
cue ball for all my lessons. This cue ball gives
the student instant feedback showing them exactly
where they struck the cue ball. Knowing where
you hit the cue ball is very important in your
position game!!! You can only get the cue ball
to go where you want it to go by hitting it
in the correct spot!! It shows the student the
amount of spin they can put on the ball by hitting
it further and further from the center. It also
shows the student what will happen to the cue
ball when you hit a specific location on the
ball! The use of this ball during lessons can
only help students better understand how and
why the cue ball does what it does, and that
is a BIG step in raising your game to that next
level!!
THANKS
